Welcome to World’s Best Paddle Boards. My name is Matt and I am obsessed with stand up paddle boarding! I first tried paddle boarding back in 2010 when I was on vacation in Hawaii and I haven’t looked back. Since then I take every opportunity I can to go paddling and try out all the different stand up paddle boards.

About Stand Up Paddle Boards

Anybody can paddle board – from complete beginners to experienced paddle boarders, but to get started you are going to need to learn all about paddle boards (also known as stand up paddle boards or SUP paddle boards).

There are different types of paddle boards for different types of paddle boarding. An all around paddle board can be used for many different paddle boarding activities and is a great option for beginners, but you can also find paddle boards designed for specific activities such as surfing, fishing, racing and yoga.

An inflatable paddle board is another good option for beginners. These can be inflated in around 10 minutes and deflated and rolled up to the size of a sleeping bag.

PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board

The Peak inflatable is a great all around paddle board, suitable for all levels of competence and for varying conditions. It has a good stable base for paddling, and the military grade PVC offers great durability.

The diamond groove traction pad is comfortable and the paddle board deflates and packs down as small as a sleeping bag for easy storage and transportation. Another real selling point for this paddle board is that it is really lightweight – weighing in at just 23 pounds.
