Fins: 3 removable fins
Materials and Manufacturing: Military-grade PVC, dropstitch technology
Features of the Ten Toes Weekender
The Ten Toes Weekender is a well-made inflatable stand up paddleboard. It is made from military grade PVC and put together with drop-stitch technology, making this SUP virtually indestructible.
When standing on it, it feels like a solid board. This rigid construction allows it to glide smoothly on water and makes it easy to maneuver. The non-slip foam pad provides soft cushioning, making it comfortable to stand on for long periods and is also good for kneeling on if you need to. This, added with the stability of the board would make it a good option for a yoga SUP.
The nose on this Ten Toes paddle board is rounded, giving added stability. But it also has a bit of lift to it that allows it to tackle choppy waters a bit better than some other all rounders we have tried.
This Ten Toes inflatable paddle board comes with three removable fins, allowing paddlers to customize its performance based on the conditions. For example, in shallow water or water with debris, you can remove the fins or just use the two smaller side fins, whereas in open flat water, all three fins will allow for easy tracking. The fins are easily removed and re-attached with push-in clips.
If you care about what your paddle board looks like, then you’re in for a treat with this Ten Toes SUP. The Weekender is one of the most stylish paddle boards on the market, with a slick design and a choice of 5 colors: blue, seafoam, black/red, green and pink. That’s right – if you’ve always wanted a pink stand up paddle board then you will be pleased to know that this Ten Toes inflatable SUP also comes in ‘blush pink’!
This Ten Toes stand up paddle board comes with a basic aluminium 3-piece paddle. This can be extended to over 8’ and can be broken down to 3’. It is lightweight, easy to adjust and would be great for travel.
If we had to make any criticisms, firstly there is no D-ring on the front, which would be useful for pulling the board out of the water in some conditions. Secondly the hand pump provided is not the best and it will take a good 8-10 minutes of pumping to get it fully inflated, so you might want to invest in another one if you are going to be using this regularly. Thirdly, at 29lb this is fairly heavy for an inflatable board. Finally, as with other Ten Toes boards it doesn’t come with a carry bag, so you will need to purchase this additionally. See our accessories recommendations below.
To sum it up: The Ten Toes Weekender is not the fastest or best performing board on the market – but it is incredibly versatile and easy to maneuver, making it one of our favorite all rounders on the market. It is one of the best paddle boards for beginners.

Backpack Carry Bag
The Ten Toes Weekender does not come with a carry bag. This is well worth investing in to make it easier for taking your paddle board out and about with you. It is also invaluable if you are planning on traveling with your SUP.
A backpack-style carry bag is best – look for one with padded straps for comfort. A large pocket is useful for storing fins/pump/repair kit etc.
We recommend the Ten Toes Rambler Ruck Sack Backpack, which is designed to fit the Ten Toes boards; has mesh netting for ventilation to help the board dry; has drain holes on the bottom; and has a spacious zippered pocket.
If you plan on traveling a lot with your SUP, then a wheeled bag makes sense. The Nomad Rolling Backpack from Ten Toes is ideal – it is made from heavy-duty nylon with super tough wheels.
The Ten Toes Weekender paddle board doesn’t come with a leash, but it is always a good idea to have one and so we recommend buying this separately. We particularly like the Helix Coiled Leash from Ten Toes. It is long lasting, hard-wearing and you can even buy it in the color to match your board. This leash stretches to 10’ long but the tight coil means it doesn’t get in the way or drag in the water.
If you plan on using your Ten Toes Weekender SUP frequently, it would make sense to invest in a better pump. We particularly like the Sevylor 12 Volt 15 PSI SUP and Water Sport Pump. Its digital display allows you to select the correct pressure. The pump will pump to the preselected pressure and then shut off, making it super easy, and saves you tiring out your arms before you’ve even started paddling.
